We’ve worked on improving the lives of over 25,000 young people through direct practice.
Young people from different backgrounds have a huge impact on us and all our activities. They highlight those parts of the society that are broken, so we can help them in all possible ways to regain hope and flourish in life.
Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunso Amosun, president of the UPLIFT Development Foundation and Founder of the Green Education For The Youth (GEFTY) initiative, is dedicated to philanthropic work and environmental advocacy. Driven by the philosophy of providing "a hand-up and not a hand-out," she has embarked on numerous programs for the less privileged and vulnerable in the society, paying particular attention to unemployed youths and environmental sustainability through her GEFTY initiative.
Mrs. Amosun is very passionate about environment and sustainability and this motivated her to author the book – ‘Green Education for the Youth’ to sensitize and motivate the youth and the public at large to be more conscious about the environment and to inculcate a green culture in the next generation. This book was endorsed by the former United Nation Secretary General, Mr. Ban-ki Moon as a useful guide for the youth on environmental sustainability.
To increase the level of awareness on environmental issues and protection, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun on the 19th of April 2013 embarked on a state-wide green awareness campaign.
On the 19th of April, 2013 a five kilometre awareness walk led by Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and his wife, Mrs. Olufunso was embarked upon. The awareness and advocacy walk took off from the MKO Abiola International Stadium in Kuto and terminated at the Oba Adisa Odeleye Park, Sokori in Abeokuta.

We run small-scale schools for the underprivileged children and youth of daily wage workers for a better future.
We run organizations where we employ youngsters so they can live their dreams for themselves and their families.
Mrs. Olufunso Amosun was one of the speakers at the National Conference on the Environment organised by the House of Representatives Committee on Environment at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja with the theme: "Minding Our Environment for a Sustainable and Secure Future" on the 20th of May, 2013.
